I work best under pressure…
March 3rd, 2011 | Posted by in BlogThe MoCCA Festival is only a month away! How did this happen?!
I had a very unproductive year concerning comics. Can I make something decent in one month? Probably… If I had any ideas! I used to be really good at coming up with short story ideas. Now, all I can think about is long format stories. What to do?!
The current plan is to draw the first chapter of a ghost story that’s been rattling around in my brain for years and years. Then perhaps I could release another chapter (or two) at SPX in September. It might be worth a try! If all else fails, I’ll get it started and that’s good regardless of whether or not I debut it at MoCCA.
Wish me luck! *Flexes drawing hand.*

If drawing in the same space as others helps your discipline (& schedule & transport permit), I have scheduled drawing time with a cartoonist in Brattleboro Tuesday & Wednesday mornings that you’d probably be welcome to join. Even if I get nothing else done during the week, I manage to produce comics there, so it’s been helpful for me.
In any case, good luck!
